The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has officially opened recruitment registration for prospective members in the 2026 fiscal year. All registration processes are conducted centrally through a single official portal to ensure transparency and accountability in accordance with the BETAH principle (Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humanistic).

For the Bintara PTU pathway, the minimum height requirement is 165 centimetres for men and 160 centimetres for women. Height requirements may differ for special competency pathways (Bakomsus).

Graduates of package A, B, and C educational programmes may apply provided they possess equivalent certificates and meet the standard scores set out in the current year’s recruitment announcement.

The official recruitment opening for Akpol, Bintara, and Tamtama positions commences in March 2026, with applicants required to submit relevant administrative documentation and comply with specified height standards, with particular provisions for Papua and remote regions.
