Official Fuel Prices at Pertamina Stations from Aceh to Papua, Effective 1 September 2026
PT Pertamina (Persero), via Pertamina Patra Niaga, has officially implemented price changes for non-subsidised Fuel Oil (BBM) products effective 1 September 202<0xC2>6. The price increases apply specifically to Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite.
For instance, at Pertamina stations in DKI Jakarta, the RON 98 fuel, Pertamax Turbo, has risen to Rp 19,600 per litre from the previous Rp 18,300 per litre. Dexlite has increased to Rp 23,700 per litre from Rp 19,700, while Pertamina Dex has risen to Rp 25,200 per litre from Rp 21,150 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price for Pertamax remains the same as the price sold in August 2026. Prices for Pertalite and subsidised diesel also remain unchanged.
VP of Corporate Communication for Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that the price adjustment was conducted based on the formula established by the government, considering several indicators including global crude oil prices, the Rupiah exchange rate, taxes, and other relevant factors such as the purchasing power of fuel users.
“The price adjustment was applied only to certain non-subsidised fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite, whereas other non-subsidised products such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 did not undergo price adjustments. This was done by considering economic viability, purchasing power, and the social conditions of the community,” Kitty explained in a press release on Tuesday (1/9/2026).
Furthermore, Kitty emphasised that this price adjustment does not change Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to maintaining product quality and providing the best service to consumers.
Pertamina Patra Niaga also advised the public to purchase fuel according to their needs and to use products that match their vehicle specifications to ensure efficient fuel usage.
