Officers send dying woman to RSCM
JAKARTA (JP): A critically ill woman, brought to Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital by three members of the military police, died upon arrival at the hospital's emergency room on Wednesday afternoon.
The long-haired, dark complexioned woman was identified as Desi Susanti, 21, a resident of Jl. Lauzer, South Jakarta.
The cause of death was not immediately known, but there was a foamy discharge from her mouth, a hospital official said.
Hospital security guards said Desi was brought to the emergency unit around midday.
The officers declined to identify themselves or to sign the registration form, the standard procedure for anyone who brings an ailing person or body to the hospital.
They left the emergency ward without notifying officials.
An hour later, two of them returned to the hospital to fill in the registration form, but they declined to provide information on the circumstances of the woman's death.
Jakarta Military Police Commander Col. Mungkono Mursidi confirmed late Wednesday that his subordinates brought Desi to the hospital, but he refused to give further details.(04)
