Officer Syarifudin was cleaning his gun after being deployed
to help secure the polls a few hours earlier.

Wounds suffered by the Irianese woman had not been clarified,
but police said the tragic incident and any misunderstandings
following from it between the two officers had been solved with
the help of the chief of the Windesi Police sub-precinct.

Adriana's body was shipped to Manokwari by boat and was
expected to arrive at Manokwari Hospital on Tuesday evening for a
postmortem examination.
