Officer dies in traffic accident

JAKARTA (JP): An officer of the Bogor police precinct, Sgt.
Budi Waluyo, died in a traffic accident on Jl. Raya Dramaga in
Bogor, on Monday.

The victim, a resident of Waru village in the Ciampea district
of Bogor, was on his way to his office when his vehicle collided
head-on with a truck, the Antara news agency reported.

Budi reportedly was unable to control his vehicle due to heavy
traffic and ran into the truck.

He is survived by his pregnant wife and a small child. (hhr)
