Office razed, losses reach Rp 1b

BOGOR: The office of the Bogor Development and Planning Agency
was burned down on Saturday, causing estimated losses of Rp 1
billion (US$115,607).

Bogor Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Bambang Sugeng suspected the
fire was caused by a short circuit inside the building.

Bogor Mayor Diani Boediarto immediately visited the site,
saying the fire was purely an accident. He added that all city
employees of the agency would work at City Hall for the time
being.

A parking attendant Adi, 25, claimed he had seen smoke coming
from a room on the third floor. -- Antara
