Offer to study in Malaysia

Offer to study in Malaysia

From Media Indonesia

We would like to inform all alumni of the Bogor Institute of
Agriculture (IPB), particularly fresh graduates, to be cautious
of offers to undertake a comparative study in Malaysia. Such
offers come from the committee of Nusantara Comparative Study
Indonesia-Malaysia Alumni having as its address: Jl. Rawamangun
Muka Barat I Kav IV, Jakarta Timur, tel: 021 5320901, 021
5320902, and fax 021 5332250 and signed by Prof Dr Muhammad
Ishag, NIP 732566875.

They trick candidates by offering them free accommodation and
trips along with the scholarships, but later charge them Rp 2.4
million for a passport. They do all these tricks on behalf of the
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, stating his mobile phone number
0812 8087139.

Judging by the way they contact fresh graduates, it is
strongly believed that they must have used IPB Annual Graduation
Books distributed on graduation day as their reference.

Given the above, we suggest that all alumni carefully keep
their books so that they are not misused by others.

Should there be any other similar modus operandi, alumni are
requested to contact the Head of IPB Public Relations.
