Odd-Even Vehicle Restriction in Jakarta Not Applicable Today
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The vehicle restriction under the odd-even system in Jakarta will not apply on Friday (3/4/2026).
According to information from the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), the policy has been waived in conjunction with the national holiday to commemorate the Death of Jesus Christ.
Consequently, all four-wheeled or larger vehicles are free to pass through the roads typically covered by the odd-even system, without restrictions based on odd or even number plates.
Although the odd-even restriction is waived, road users are still advised to maintain traffic order and comply with signs and applicable rules. This is important to avoid potential congestion, especially on several major roads predicted to remain busy during the national holiday.
