Queues at petrol stations in Bali began to ease on Sunday following the introduction of an odd-even system at fuel stations across the region.

Based on field observations by Pertamina’s team, Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager for Communication, Relations and CSR at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Jatimbalinus Regional Office, said the decline was quite significant at almost all petrol stations in Bali on the second day of the system’s implementation.

He also said fuel supplies, particularly Pertalite and Biosolar, were available to serve the public. Pertamina is monitoring stocks digitally around the clock.

“We are continuing to monitor fuel stocks in Bali, particularly Pertalite and Biosolar, and coordinate with all petrol stations to ensure supplies are available and services comply with regulations. We are also coordinating with the Manggis Integrated Terminal and Sanggaran Fuel Terminal to prioritise supplies to petrol stations with high levels of consumption,” Ahad said in an official statement cited on Sunday (18 October 2026).

Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Jatimbalinus Regional Office is continuing to assess the queues in Bali with the local government and other stakeholders. It is also making improvements and adjustments in response to developments on the ground.

Pertamina urged residents to remain calm and buy fuel according to their needs.
