Odd-Even, One-Way, and Contra-flow Toll Schedule for Eid Homecoming 2026
Traffic management measures including one-way systems, contra-flow arrangements, and odd-even vehicle policies have been prepared for the Eid 2026 homecoming and return periods to address the anticipated surge in vehicle traffic.
These traffic engineering measures will be implemented on several major toll routes, particularly the Trans-Java corridor which is the main route used by travellers from the Greater Jakarta area heading to Central and East Java.
This policy forms part of the traffic management strategy during the Eid 2026 homecoming and return periods to ensure smooth travel for the public.
Certain vehicles are exempt from the odd-even regulations, including ambulances, fire trucks, yellow-plated public transport vehicles, and toll operational vehicles.
During the homecoming period, vehicles heading towards Jakarta through toll gates on these routes will be temporarily closed. During the return period, the one-way system will operate in the opposite direction, with vehicles heading towards Semarang through toll gates being temporarily closed.
Travellers are advised to plan their travel times carefully to avoid traffic congestion during both the Eid homecoming and return periods in 2026.
