Oct. 12 tragedy: The aftermath

Bali has long been known as paradise island, the most favorite tourist destination in Indonesia. Known as the island of the gods it is considered the safest place in the whole country.

Unfortunately, a week ago, this beautiful image was tarnished by bomb blasts which killed over 180 people, mostly Westerners.

The Balinese are in shock as are all Indonesians and the rest of the world. Many people are giving a hand to help the wounded ones or to comfort those who have lost their loved ones. The whole world has unanimously condemned the bloody attack.

If such a terrorist attack could take place in the safest place in the country, what may happen in other places? This is a question that must be answered not only by the Indonesian government but the rest of the world.
