The company observed sustained growth momentum at the beginning of 2026, both in terms of intermediation and fund mobilisation.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (OCBC) recorded a net profit of Rp1.36 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, up 5% year-on-year (yoy), supported by a 6% yoy growth in operational income.

OCBC President Director Parwati Surjaudaja stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that the company sees sustained growth momentum at the start of 2026, both from intermediation and fund mobilisation perspectives.

She added that the continued positive credit growth reflects the company’s commitment to supporting customer needs and the economy, while the increase in CASA demonstrates growing customer confidence in our services.

“Supported by strong capitalisation and adequate liquidity, we are optimistic about continuing to accelerate prudent growth, while maintaining the bank’s resilience amid economic dynamics,” said Parwati.

In the first quarter of 2026, OCBC’s credit disbursements grew to Rp171.0 trillion, with asset quality remaining stable.

The gross non-performing loan ratio (NPL gross) was maintained at 2.1%, and the loan at risk (LaR) improved to 5.3% from 5.4% the previous year, with adequate NPL provisioning at 221.8%.

On the funding side, third-party funds (DPK) reached Rp226.4 trillion, up 4% yoy, supported by CASA growth to 61.9%.

OCBC’s total assets increased by 7% yoy to Rp312.9 trillion.

OCBC’s capital adequacy ratio (CAR) rose to 25.0%, while liquidity remained well-maintained, as reflected by the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) of 236.7%.

In terms of services, OCBC noted that the total value of transactions via e-channels grew by up to 15% yoy.

Active individual users of internet banking and OCBC Mobile increased by 8% yoy, while active users of OCBC Business Mobile for corporate customers rose by 20% yoy.
