Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), as a Digital Business Campus, continues to strengthen its role in bridging the gap between graduates and the industrial world. This commitment was demonstrated through a Campus Hiring event with OCBC, organised by the Nusa Mandiri Career Center (NCC) on Thursday, 4 June 2026, at the UNM Rawamangun Campus in East Jakarta.

This activity serves as a strategic effort by UNM to expand career access for alumni while supporting increased graduate absorption in the workforce. The Campus Hiring event was attended by enthusiastic UNM alumni looking to leverage career opportunities within one of Indonesia’s leading banking institutions.

The event opened with a speech from the Head of the Nusa Mandiri Career Center, Muhammad Faisal, who emphasised the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and the industrial sector to create graduates capable of competing in the labour market.

“Through this activity, we hope UNM alumni can gain wider access to career opportunities and demonstrate their competencies to our partner companies. Campus Hiring is a tangible form of our commitment to supporting the transition of graduates from academia to the professional world,” Faisal stated in a release received on Monday, 8 June 2026.

During the event, the OCBC recruitment team, represented by Malki and Hera, presented the company profile, work culture, career opportunities, and various available positions for job seekers. Participants also gained insights into the recruitment process, the qualifications required by the banking industry, and strategies for effectively navigating selection stages.

“Beyond the presentation sessions, this event also featured direct interviews for alumni who met the administrative requirements. This opportunity allowed participants to interact directly with the OCBC recruitment team and undergo the initial selection process on campus,” he added.

Faisal explained that this recruitment model provides significant advantages for alumni by accelerating access to job opportunities and providing real-world experience in facing professional selection processes.

“As a Digital Business Campus, Universitas Nusa Mandiri continues to introduce various programmes that support the career readiness of students and alumni, including strengthening industry networks, internship programmes, competency certifications, and direct recruitment activities with partner companies,” said Faisal. He added that through the collaboration between the Nusa Mandiri Career Center and OCBC, it is hoped that more UNM alumni will successfully build professional careers in their respective fields of expertise.
