OASA Develops Lampung Raya PSEL to Support National Waste-to-Energy Project

PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), through its subsidiary PT Indoplas Dewata Energi and SUS Environment Inc., has formed the Konsorsium Bumi Biru Indonesia, which has been appointed as the selected partner to develop the Waste-to-Energy (PSEL) facility in Lampung Raya. The Lampung Raya PSEL is one of eight second-phase Waste to Energy project locations designated by PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) together with PT Daya Energi Bersih Nusantara (Denera). OASA President Director Bobby Gafur Umar stated that the development of Waste to Energy requires strong collaboration between the government, the private sector, technology partners, and various stakeholders to provide optimal benefits for the community. Bobby noted that the current progress is part of a joint effort to accelerate the construction of Waste to Energy facilities in Indonesia. The Lampung Raya PSEL project is designed with a processing capacity of approximately 1,167 tonnes of waste per day, forming part of Danantara’s second-phase Waste to Energy project development. Bobby added that this progress is part of efforts to expand participation in supporting the development of the national Waste to Energy ecosystem through collaboration with strategic partners who possess experience and capability in developing energy-based waste processing facilities. The PSEL project in Lampung Raya complements OASA’s Waste to Energy portfolio, which is currently expanding across various regions of Indonesia.
