Nyepi Festival 2026 in Jakarta, Traffic Arrangements Mapped
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Nyepi Festival 2026 will be held in the Bundaran HI to Monas area, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, 8 March 2026. In connection with the event, the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency (Dishub) will implement traffic engineering on several streets around the venue. The head of the Jakarta DKI Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that traffic management is carried out to support the smooth running of the festival on several main roads.
“Dishub DKI Jakarta will implement traffic engineering around the location of the Nyepi Festival 2026 from Bundaran HI to Monas,” Syafrin said, quoted by Kompas.com, Saturday (7/3/2026).

Vehicles can pass via Jalan Abdul Muis – Jalan Budi Kemuliaan – Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan – Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and so on.
- From the East (Tugu Tani) towards the West (Tanah Abang)
Vehicles can pass via Jalan M.I Ridwan Rais – Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan – Jalan Budi Kemuliaan – Jalan Abdul Muis and so on.
- Alternative from the West (Tanah Abang) towards the East (Gambir)
Vehicles can pass via Jalan Abdul Muis – Jalan Budi Kemuliaan – Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat – Jalan Majapahit – Jalan Ir. H. Juanda – Jalan Pos – Jalan Gedung Kesenian – Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara – Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat – Jalan Taman Pejambon – Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and so on.
Another alternative can pass via Jalan Jatibaru Raya – Jalan Kebon Sirih – Jalan M.I Ridwan Rais – Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and so on.

Vehicles can pass via Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur – Jalan Perwira – Jalan Katedral – Jalan Veteran – Jalan Suryopranoto and so on.
Other alternatives via Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur – Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara – Jalan Abdul Muis and so on.
Vehicles can pass via Jalan Suryopranoto – Jalan Balikpapan – Jalan Cideng Timur and so on.

Dishub DKI Jakarta urges the public to adjust travel routes and follow the directions of on-site officers during the event to avoid congestion around the venue.
