Investment in the manufacturing sector will remain unaffected by the two hotel bombings last week, Industry Minister Fahmi Idris said Tuesday.
"The bombings have had no impact [on investment in the manufacturing sector]," he said at the ministry office in Jakarta.
"Do you know why there's no impact? It’s because the attacks were not the first to strike us. Even Pakistan has bombings every day, yet many investors keep coming into the country."
The government and observers expect tourism to be the sector hit hardest by last Friday’s terror attacks.
