Nusron Wahid's Office Avoided in KPK Search, Here is the Explanation
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stated that it did not search the office of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, during searches conducted at the Ministry of ATR/BPN this Thursday.
“For now, the searches were carried out in three Director-General offices and related directorate rooms,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, on Thursday (17/9).
Budi noted that the three rooms involved were those of the Director-General of Land and Spatial Order Control and Enforcement, Lampri; the Director-General of Land and Spatial Survey, Mapping, and Management, Virgo Eresta Jaya; and the Director-General of Rights Determination and Land Registration, Asnaedi.
Meanwhile, he hinted that the searches conducted by the KPK this Thursday are merely the beginning of further raids related to the alleged bribery case within the Ministry of ATR/BPN environment.
“We are awaiting developments based on investigative needs, as this is the first search activity since the case moved to the investigation stage,” he said.
Previously, the KPK conducted a sting operation (OTT) in the Jabodetabek area on 14 September 2026. The operation was related to alleged corruption in the processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) for a private company in Bogor Regency, West Java. A day later, the KPK named eight individuals as suspects in the alleged bribery case within the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
The suspects include the Director-General of Land and Spatial Order Control and Enforcement of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Lampri; the Head of the Bogor Regency Land Office I, Sontang Coin Manurung; the President Director of a private company, Adrianto Pitojo Adhi; and Rizal Pahlevi, acting as a private party or intermediary for a private company.
Other suspects include the former Regent of Kebumen, Arif Sugiyanto; the Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Fahd El Fouz, also known as Fahd Arafiq; and private individuals named Erwin and Muhammad Fakhry. The latter four are alleged to be trusted associates of Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahandi.
The sting operation is linked to alleged corruption in the processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) for PT Summarecon Agung Tbk in Bogor Regency, West Java.
Additionally, the KPK has seized PUPR project documents, mobile phones, and CCTV recordings from 15 locations in Central Java related to the extortion case involving the inactive Regent of Pemalang, Anom Widiyantoro.
KPK officers at the Sukoharjo Regency government office complex also unsealed several rooms that had been sealed during the sting operation last Thursday.
Furthermore, the KPK searched four locations in Jakarta regarding an alleged corruption case involving the determination of quotas and the administration of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage within the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
