Nusron Speaks Out Regarding ATR/BPN Corruption Investigation by KPK

The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, has finally spoken out in response to alleged corruption cases within his ministry currently being investigated by the KPK.

Nusron stated that he respects the legal process being conducted by the KPK regarding the investigation into alleged land mafia activities related to the management of Building Use Rights (HGB) in Bogor Regency.

According to Nusron, the legal process by the KPK is expected to serve as a momentum to accelerate the improvement of services within land offices, ensuring that governance becomes better, more transparent, and more accountable to the public.

Responding to questions regarding the mention of his name in the case, Nusron has fully deferred the investigation process to the KPK.

He emphasised that the entire investigation process falls under the authority of law enforcement agencies. Therefore, any developments in the case should await the official results of the KPK’s examination.
