Nusron Hands Over Two Waqf Land Certificates for NU Administrative Building in Indramayu

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid handed over two waqf land certificates for the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) administrative building in Indramayu Regency, West Java.

The handover took place during the Halalbihalal and Waqf Land Certificate Presentation event for the Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU) Branch in Indramayu.

During the event, Nusron handed over the two waqf land certificates to the Chairman of PCNU Indramayu, K.H. Muhammad Musthopa.

The two certificates are intended for the construction of the NU administrative building located in Karanganyar Ward and Segaran Kidul Village, with areas of 1,665 square metres and 519 square metres respectively.

“Alhamdulillah, I feel relieved and happy. I express my thanks, especially to Mr Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Nusron Wahid, and also thanks to the BPN at the West Java provincial level. I also thank the Head of the Indramayu Regency Land Office who took the time to process the NU building certificate perfectly,” he said on Monday (20/4/2026).

On that occasion, Nusron invited NU to continue playing an active role in providing tangible benefits to society.

“The only way for NU is to provide benefits to humanity, and everything that provides benefits to humans will surely endure on earth,” Nusron emphasised.

According to Nusron, NU’s benefits can be realised through various fields, including strengthening da’wah and study circles in the religious sector, providing clinic and hospital services in the health sector, and strengthening business units in the economic sector.

He also stressed the importance of improving the quality of education, particularly in mastering science and technology.

This aims to enable the younger generation of NU to drive national self-reliance in the food, energy, and technology sectors.
