Nusron Becomes Emotional When Questioned Regarding ATR/BPN Case
The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, became emotional when questioned by journalists regarding the evaluation of an alleged bribery case involving the processing of Building Use Rights (HGB) for PT Summareton, which has affected his ministry.
“I am about to go home. This is not the way, this is not the way,” said Nusron after attending the first-level plenary meeting for the ratification of the Agrarian Reform Bill at the DPR RI Legislative Body on Monday (21/9).
When asked about the ongoing legal process by the KPK regarding the case involving the Ministry of ATR/BPN, he was also reluctant to answer. Nusron stated that his party would respect the ongoing legal proceedings.
“As I have already stated, regarding that matter, we respect the legal process being conducted by the KPK. Therefore, our position is to respect and follow the existing process,” Nusron said.
Monday’s meeting marked Nusron’s first appearance after being absent from meetings for two consecutive days. Previously, he was absent after his name surfaced in connection with the alleged bribery case.
