Nusantara Mosque has partnered with Cinta Quran Foundation to launch the Movement for Development of 99 Asmaul Husna Mosques. The collaboration was announced at the 2026 General Waqf Holders’ Meeting held by Cinta Quran Foundation on Sunday, 8 March 2026.

Through this collaboration, Nusantara Mosque serves as a partner in the development and construction of mosques across various regions of Indonesia. The programme, designed jointly with Cinta Quran Foundation, can strengthen the role of mosques as centres for community guidance and development.

The 99 Asmaul Husna Mosques programme is designed so that each mosque will embody one of the 99 divine attributes (Asmaul Husna). In this way, the values of Allah’s greatness can become an inspiration in the lives of communities surrounding each mosque.

With this concept, mosques are expected to become vibrant spaces that bring blessings and strengthen the spiritual and social values of the Muslim community.

As an institution committed to mosque development and empowerment for approximately 13 years, Nusantara Mosque has successfully established 265 mosques in remote areas throughout Indonesia.

Nusantara Mosque will continue to promote the establishment of mosques that not only stand physically, but also actively serve as centres of community civilisation.

Pras Purworo, CEO of Nusantara Mosque, stated that mosques have an extremely important role in building communities. He cited how the Prophet Muhammad made mosques the primary foundation in building society.

“Since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the first building that was constructed was a mosque. From there, communities were united, educated, and their faith and belief in Allah were strengthened. The mosque became the foundation for the emergence of civilisation, a place where leaders built the strength of the community before developing into other aspects of life,” he said.

He added that through the 99 Asmaul Husna Mosques development programme, Nusantara Mosque hopes to strengthen the role of mosques as centres for community guidance and development.

“Through this programme, God willing, we want to present mosques as centres for strengthening faith and community civilisation, including in remote and rural areas. From these mosques, it is hoped that better human development will emerge and an improvement in the quality of human resources that will contribute to national development,” said Pras.
