This afternoon, the Nusantara Lunar New Year Parade 2026 will take place along Cathedral Street to Banteng Field in Jakarta. Residents will witness dragon dances (Naga Liong), lion dances (Barongsai), wushu performances and Ramadan drums (Bedug Ramadan) filling the streets.

Traffic Diversion for the Lunar New Year Parade
The following information concerns traffic diversions for the Nusantara Lunar New Year Parade 2026:
Traffic from Harmoni and Pecenongan will be diverted after Juanda Station
Traffic from Gunung Sahari is closed completely
Traffic from Senen is closed completely
For visitors using public transport, you can alight at Gambir Station and walk to the parade location.
For visitors using motorcycles or private cars, you can alight at Istiqlal Mosque or RSPAD.

Cap Go Meh is part of the Lunar New Year celebration held on the 15th day after the lunar new year. This year, the Cap Go Meh 2577 Kongzili celebration falls on 3 March 2026.
According to the Joint Decree of Three Ministers on National Holidays and Joint Leave 2026, 3 March is not a public holiday. This means there is no holiday during the Cap Go Meh 2026 celebration. The holiday for the Lunar New Year 2026 celebration was only on 16 and 17 February 2026.
