Nusantara Five Satellite Officially Operational, 3T Regions Prepare to Enjoy Faster Communication Access

The Nusantara Five satellite has officially become operational, enabling 3T regions—frontier, outer, and underdeveloped areas—to benefit from faster communication access. Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid discussed the matter with President Director of Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) Group Adi Rahman Adiwoso, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie and Head of the Presidential Staff Office (Ret.) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, during the official operation ceremony in Jakarta on Monday (11/5/2026). The presence of the satellite is expected to expedite the equalisation of communication access, especially in 3T regions.
