The Paradisus by Meliá Bali, located in The Nusa Dua area, Badung, has introduced the first luxury all-inclusive concept in Asia. This concept allows guests to enjoy a complete holiday experience within a single, more practical, comprehensive, and limitless package. Beyond premium accommodation, the stay includes world-class dining options, daily activities, wellness experiences such as yoga, and authentic, personalised Balinese cultural immersion.

Guests can enjoy international and local cuisine across eight restaurants and five bars, alongside family activities, Balinese cultural experiences, and relaxation by the beach and swimming pools. All these facilities are included in the single stay experience. To access this experience, rates are offered starting from IDR 2 million to IDR 11 million per night for single all-inclusive packages, while double packages range from IDR 4 million to IDR 20 million per night.

This innovative concept was introduced during the grand opening series of Paradisus by Meliá Bali, held from 15–17 May 2026 in The Nusa Dua area. This opening marks the debut of the Paradisus brand in Asia and strengthens Bali’s position in the growing global luxury travel segment.

The President Director of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk, Johannes Suriadjaja, stated that the hotel previously operated under the name Meliá Bali before undergoing extensive renovations. “The transformation of Meliá Bali Hotel into Paradisus Bali is a strategic step by SSIA to build a stronger Indonesian tourism sector. This initiative is expected not only to attract tourists from various countries but also to serve as a medium for knowledge exchange regarding service excellence, which will enrich the Indonesian hospitality industry,” he said on Sunday (17/5/2026).

Johannes revealed that the total investment for the hotel’s complete renovation reached IDR 1.2 trillion. Currently, room occupancy rates remain around 50–60 per cent as the hotel has only recently reopened to the public.

Addressing the global situation, including conflicts in the Middle East, the company remains optimistic. One of their strategies involves targeting new markets, particularly in the Asia and Australia regions. “We must be agile and brave in acquiring new markets, especially in Asia and Australia. Australia is more accessible as they are quite familiar with the concept, but the challenge will lie in Asia—whether from Korea, China, Japan, or the ASEAN region,” he noted.

The Paradisus brand itself operates in various exotic destinations across Europe and Latin America. In Bali, the hotel offers premium facilities such as ‘The Reserve’, an exclusive area for adult guests, a Family Concierge service, a variety of restaurants and bars, fitness and relaxation facilities, and activity programmes that highlight the richness of local Balinese culture.
