Nus Kei Dies from 4 Stab Wounds, Ranging from Chest to Spine
The chairman of the DPD II of the Golkar Party in Southeast Maluku, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, died after being stabbed at Karel Sadsuitubun Airport in Ibra, Southeast Maluku Regency. Nus Kei succumbed to four stab wounds. “A stabbing occurred against the Chairman of the DPD I of the Golkar Party in Southeast Maluku, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, resulting in his death. There are (four stab wounds) to the chest, neck, and spine,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Regional Police, Commissioner Rositah, as reported by detikSulsel on Monday (20/4/2026). The incident took place on Sunday (19/4) at 11:30 WIT. Nus Kei had just landed after an air journey from Jakarta. As Nus Kei exited the plane and headed towards the airport exit, he was immediately stabbed. Police have named two suspects: Hendrikus Rahayaan (28) and Finansius Ulukyanan (36). “However, suddenly the two perpetrators (Hendrikus Rahayaan and Finansius Ulukyanan), wearing black sweaters, stabbed the victim with a knife. (The victim was stabbed) in the right rib and chest,” she explained. After stabbing Nus Kei, the perpetrators Hendrikus Rahayaan and Finansius Ulukyanan fled immediately. However, less than two hours later, both perpetrators were apprehended. Police are delving into suspicions that the stabbing of Nus Kei was part of a planned murder. So far, six people, including the two suspects, have been examined by investigators.
