Nurul Arifin Wins Lifetime Dedication in Parliamentary Award

Member of DPR RI Commission I from the Golkar Faction, Nurul Arifin, has received the Lifetime Dedication in Parliamentary and Digital Transformation Achievement award at the CNN Indonesia Leading Women Awards 2026.

The award was presented by CNN Indonesia Director Desi Anwar at the peak event of the Leading Women Awards 2026, held at the Auditorium of Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/4) evening.

Before entering the world of politics, Nurul was a gender and women’s activist. She has been a member of the DPR since the 2009 period and continues to serve to this day.

Nurul Arifin’s dedication and consistency over more than 20 years in politics are reflected in her role as a Member of DPR RI Commission I.

One of her achievements is evident in the drafting of the Personal Data Protection Law, the expansion of internet access in remote areas, and support for the Digital Talent Scholarship programme to develop Indonesia’s digital talent.

The Leading Women Awards 2026 was organised by CNN Indonesia as a form of appreciation for inspirational women in the country who have contributed in various fields.
