Nurturing Togetherness Through the Tradition of Communal Dining

More than just a communal meal, Botram Salembur provided a space for residents of five hamlets in Cijulang Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency, West Java, to celebrate independence while strengthening togetherness. Residents sat together, shared food, and enjoyed the dishes brought in an atmosphere of warm familiarity.

The activity, held on Jalan Eretan Cikole Kulon on Wednesday (19/8/2026), was an expression of gratitude by residents in commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The communal dining tradition also served as a simple way to preserve the culture of mutual cooperation and strengthen relationships among residents.
