Number of Passengers at Lebak Bulus Terminal Reaches 6,265 People

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The number of passengers at Lebak Bulus Terminal in South Jakarta was recorded at 6,265 people during the period from 17 to 19 March 2026, or H-4 to H-2 before Eid al-Fitr 2026. “The total number of departing passengers over these three days reached 6,265 people with 274 bus units,” said the Head of Lebak Bulus Terminal, Joni Budhi, when contacted in Jakarta on Friday. Joni stated that this figure is an accumulation from intercity interprovincial (AKAP) buses as well as Transjabodetabek services. He detailed that on 17 March 2026, there were 2,494 passengers departing with 107 buses. Meanwhile, on 18 March, there were 2,031 passengers with 95 buses. As for 19 March, the number of departing passengers was recorded at 1,740 people with 72 buses. “As predicted, the passenger surge occurred on 17 and 18 March 2026 (H-4 and H-3 before Eid),” he said. In addition, officers routinely monitor the terminal area to maintain security and order during the Eid transportation period. He also advised the public to plan trips early and ensure ticket purchases are made through official channels to avoid potential scams.
