Number of Government Securities Investors Doubles in Four Years
JAKARTA - The number of investors in Government Securities (SBN) continues to rise, reaching 1.41 million people by the end of 2025.
Data from PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) shows an upward trend over the past four years. The number of investors was recorded at around 611,000 in 2021, rising to 831,000 in 2022, then surpassing 1 million in 2023. The figure increased again to 1.19 million in 2024 and reached 1.41 million in 2025.
This growth is driven by the expansion of investment access through digital platforms. One key distribution partner in the financial technology category is Bibit.id.
This achievement has been attained for four consecutive years.
Bibit’s Head of Marketing, Angie Anandita, stated that the award reflects the company’s consistency in encouraging public participation.
“This award reaffirms our consistency and commitment to marketing SBN and SBSN to the Indonesian public. Thank you for the appreciation given by the Ministry of Finance,” Angie said in a press release on Tuesday (7/4/2026).
“Going forward, we will continue to innovate, carry out various educational efforts, and focus on inviting the public to build the nation through investment in SBN and SBSN,” she added.
Since becoming a fintech distribution partner in 2022, Bibit has recorded high SBN sales and received awards every year.
According to her, the high interest in SBN demonstrates trust in state investment instruments, especially amid uncertain global economic conditions.
“In the midst of economic conditions marked by uncertainty, investors and the public in Indonesia have shown enthusiasm and good trust in Government Securities. This is certainly our shared hope in the industry that this momentum can be further strengthened in 2026,” she said.
“We are very pleased that Bibit’s presence as an SBN sales Midis has helped increase the number of SBN investors in Indonesia,” added Hilmawan.
