Nugget and Sausage Factory Fire in Tangerang Difficult to Extinguish Due to Piled-Up Materials

TANGERANG – The fire at a nugget and sausage factory in Cikupa, Tangerang Regency, remained difficult to extinguish as of 5:00 PM WIB on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

Tangerang Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Chief Achmad Taufik explained the challenges faced by firefighters at the scene.

“The large burned area and piled-up combustible materials have made it difficult for the team to extinguish the fire,” he said when contacted via WhatsApp on Thursday.

Seven fire units from various regions have been deployed to tackle the blaze.

The cause of the fire and total damage remain unknown, but there were no casualties reported.
