Nubia Neo 5 5G and Neo 5 GT Officially Launched in Indonesia, Here Are the Prices

Chinese smartphone brand Nubia, under ZTE, has officially launched its latest gaming phones in Indonesia, the Nubia Neo 5 Series. The Neo 5 Series comes in two models: the Nubia Neo 5 5G and the Nubia Neo 5 GT. Nubia Indonesia Country Manager Zhuang Yongke said the two devices target mobile gamers who want stable gaming performance at a more affordable price. ‘The Nubia Neo 5 Series also targets those who need a phone with a responsive display and battery life for longer gaming sessions,’ Yongke said in a press release received by KompasTekno on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

Cooling fans, typically found in high-end gaming phones, are integrated into the devices’ chassis. The cooling fan is combined with a VC Cooling system and Graphene to help keep the device temperature stable during prolonged heavy gaming sessions. Nubia claims the cooling area on the Neo 5 GT reaches 29,508 mm². The Neo 5 5G does not include an internal cooling fan, but its cooling area remains sizeable at around 20,000 mm².

Despite the lack of an internal cooling fan, the Neo 5 5G is equipped with another standout feature that is also on the Neo 5 GT: Dual Gaming Shoulder Triggers 550 Hz. The feature, which resembles L1 and R1 buttons on a controller, uses capacitive inputs so users can access in-game controls more easily. The triggers are claimed to have a response time of under 5.5 milliseconds and can be customised for various functions in shooter games, such as firing, aiming, and weapon switching.

The displays offer brightness up to 4,500 nits and an instant touch rate of up to 3,049 Hz.
