The realisation of Non-Physical Specific Allocation Funds (DAK) for Primary Health Centre Operational Assistance (BOK) in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) remains low. As of 20 April 2026, the first-stage disbursement has only reached 5.50% of the total budget allocation.

The Head of the NTT Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, Adi Setiawan, stated that the first-stage realisation has reached Rp 20.68 billion out of the total budget of Rp 376.05 billion.

“Based on the disbursement data for Non-Physical DAK BOK for puskesmas in the scope of East Nusa Tenggara Province up to 20 April 2026, out of the total budget allocation of Rp 376.05 billion, Rp 20.68 billion has been realised for stage I, or around 5.50%,” explained Adi on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

The disbursement of BOK for puskesmas is carried out in stages from stage I to stage III. For stage I, funds are disbursed at a maximum of 30% of the planned allocation per province/district/city, as early as February of the fiscal year.

The low achievement indicates that the disbursement process still requires acceleration by regional governments so that its benefits can be quickly felt by the community, particularly to support the operational services of basic healthcare at puskesmas.

Adi explained that several regional governments have recorded higher first-stage realisation achievements compared to other areas. Central Sumba Regency reached Rp 2.32 billion or 23.67%.

This was followed by North Central Timor Regency (TTU) with Rp 4.28 billion or 19.28%, West Manggarai Regency with Rp 3.50 billion or 15.11%.

South Central Timor Regency with Rp 4.13 billion or 14.60%, and Sikka Regency with Rp 3.01 billion or 13.38%.

Adi hopes that the achievements of these five regions will serve as examples for other regencies.

“In accelerating the disbursement process, both in terms of fulfilling administrative requirements and coordination between regional apparatus,” he said.

According to him, optimising the disbursement of Non-Physical DAK BOK for puskesmas requires strong synergy between the central and regional governments.

This synergy includes accelerating the submission of requirement documents, improving the quality of planning and reporting, as well as strengthening the commitment to utilising funds on time and on target.

With accelerated disbursement, healthcare services at puskesmas are expected to run more optimally, thereby able to improve the health status of the community in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
