NTT Governor Receives Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara Award
East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena has received the Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara award at the 2026 Koperasi Awards. The category was given in recognition of Laka Lena’s contribution in providing guidance and broad support for the development of cooperatives in NTT.
The award was presented during the Koperasi Awards 2026 ceremony on Thursday (20/8/2026). The moment was also broadcast live on detikcom.
The Koperasi Awards 2026 was organised by the Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) of the Republic of Indonesia together with detikcom. The event was also supported by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, LPDB Koperasi, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, ID FOOD, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), PT Pegadaian (Persero), and BPJS Kesehatan.
The Koperasi Awards 2026 serves as an event of appreciation and honour for state officials, central and regional government officials, public figures, and individuals who have provided contribution, dedication, and active roles in the guidance, development, and strengthening of cooperatives as a people’s economic movement.
There are six award categories in the Koperasi Awards 2026: Bakti Koperasi Makarti Guna Swasembada; Bakti Koperasi Satya Bhakti Pamong Artha; Bakti Koperasi Sri Radhana Swasembada; Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara; Bakti Koperasi Pradana Nayaka; and Anugerah Amerta Bakti.
Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono said in his speech that cooperatives are not merely ordinary business entities. According to him, cooperatives are a tangible manifestation of an economic idea built on the foundation of togetherness and mutual assistance.
“This reminds us of one important thing: that cooperatives are indeed not just business entities, but an idea about how the economy is built through togetherness and mutual assistance to improve the welfare of members and provide benefits to society,” said Ferry in his speech at the Koperasi Awards 2026 ceremony on Thursday (20/8).
According to Ferry, these values remain relevant today. Through the Koperasi Awards 2026, his ministry is giving appreciation to cooperative members who have shown dedication and innovation amid an ever-changing world.
“This award is not merely about who receives the award, but also recognition of those who consistently work and, of course, continue the ideals of Bung Hatta,” he added.
