NTT Fuel Case Allegedly Involves Company Hoarding 30 Tonnes
The case of hoarding subsidised diesel fuel in East Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), has implicated seven police officers. Not only that, the fuel flow is suspected to end up at a company with a total of 30 tonnes.
Two members of the Propam unit at East Manggarai Police Resort, namely Aipda Djefri Loudoe (DGL) alias Jelo and Bripda HFI, were the first parties uncovered in this case. Both are suspected of being directly involved in the hoarding of subsidised diesel.
Information gathered by detikBali indicates that the case also involves Komandan Kompi 4 Batalion B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda NTT Iptu Herman Pati Bean, Kanit Tipidter Polres Manggarai Barat Ipda Adhar, and Brimob member Hendra Aman. In total, seven police officers are now suspected to be implicated.
In the flow, the fuel is said to have been distributed to the owner of PT Surya Sejahtera, Jimy Lasmono alias Ko Jimy. He is suspected as the main recipient, with the goods stored in his warehouse in West Manggarai amounting to 30 tonnes. However, Jimy denies the allegations.
“That is not true,” said Jimy to detikBali on Monday (27/4/2026).
Jimy claims that the fuel in his warehouse is goods from an auction by the Manggarai Barat District Prosecutor’s Office, which he bought from the auction winner in December 2025.
“I bought it in December 2025. Not from the prosecutor, but from the auction results of the Manggarai Barat Prosecutor’s Office,” explained Jimy.
On the other hand, circulating information states that in December 2025, the Manggarai Barat District Prosecutor’s Office only auctioned off 18,000 litres or 18 tonnes of diesel. When confirmed about the discrepancy in quantities, Jimy refused to respond.
The Head of Public Relations of Polda NTT, Kombes Henry Novika Chandra, said that his side is still investigating the alleged involvement of the seven police officers. The examination is currently being conducted by the Bidpropam of Polda NTT.
“I’ll look for information first. Because it’s still under examination,” said Henry.
Regarding the alleged involvement of PT Surya Sejahtera, Henry admitted he would check with the investigators handling the case. He also mentioned that he is still studying the related articles to avoid mistakes in public communication.
“Investigation material, let me ask. Thank you for the information, I’m still studying the exception articles so as not to make mistakes,” concluded Henry.
Previously, the East Manggarai Police Resort deactivated two personnel suspected of being involved in hoarding subsidised diesel without official documents amounting to 2.9 tonnes. The two are Aipda DGL and Bripda HFI.
“As a form of responsibility to the public, the East Manggarai Police Chief has taken proactive steps by deactivating those two Polri members from their functional positions to facilitate an objective and in-depth examination process,” said Henry to detikBali on Saturday (25/4/2026).
