NTB Regional Police Task Force Prioritises Persuasive Approach to Prevent Food Hoarding

ANTARA – The Task Force for Sweeping Up Violations Related to Prices, Security, and Food Quality of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police is prioritising a persuasive approach towards distributors found to be hoarding food commodities, in order to maintain price stability in the market. The Director of Special Crimes at the NTB Regional Police, Commissioner Pol FX Endriadi, stated on Tuesday (24 February) that criminal sanctions would be the last resort in law enforcement, and urged the public to participate in monitoring and reporting suspected hoarding.
