NTB Provincial Government Confirms All BPK Recommendations Have Been Addressed
The Provincial Government of West Nusa Tenggara has confirmed that all recommendations from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year have been followed up in accordance with regulations.
Provincial Government Spokesperson Ahsanul Khalik stated in Mataram on Tuesday that the BPK recommendations are part of the audit mechanism to improve governance. All recommendations have been addressed, including the deposit of all revenue findings, both before and after the Audit Result Report (LHP) was issued.
He explained that at the UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja of the Manpower and Transmigration Office, a retribution revenue discrepancy of Rp92.17 million was fully deposited into the regional treasury before the LHP was published. Similarly, at the UPTD Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Koperasi, all deposit obligations were completed in accordance with the BPK’s recommendations.
Meanwhile, at the Environmental Laboratory Centre, the BPK’s recommendation did not relate to financial misuse, but rather a review of service charges imposed outside regional regulations to ensure a stronger legal basis. Recommendations for the State Museum, Wisma Seruni, and Tanjung Sape Fishing Port concerned administrative improvements, optimisation of retribution administration, use of tickets according to provisions, and acceleration of licensing processes under central government authority.
Ahsanul, who also serves as Head of the Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Kominfotik) of NTB, stressed that BPK recommendations are instruments to strengthen the internal control system and improve the quality of regional financial management. Therefore, audit findings cannot be immediately concluded as regional losses or missing state funds. He affirmed that the NTB Provincial Government is committed to implementing all recommendations in an accountable, transparent manner, in line with the Governor’s directives.
