NTB Prosecutor's Office Returns Case Files of Drug Suspects AKBP Didik and AKP Malaungi to Investigators

Mataram (ANTARA) - The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor’s Office returned the case files of two suspects in a methamphetamine trafficking case in Bima City to the police investigators.

Assistant Public Prosecutor Irwan Setiawan Wahyuhafi in Mataram on Friday stated that the returned files pertain to AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro and AKP Malaungi.

“The case files have been returned to the investigators for completion,” he said.

He explained that the return occurred after the investigating prosecutors examined the results of the stage one transfer from the NTB Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate.

Based on the examination, the prosecutors deemed there to be deficiencies in both formal and material aspects of the case files.

Previously, the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office received the Notice of Commencement of Investigation (SPDP) from the NTB Police regarding the case on 20 February 2026, involving three suspects: AKBP Didik, AKP Malaungi, and Erwin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin.

The three were designated as suspects on 16 February 2026 based on the results of the investigation development, including a confession from one of the suspects.

In connection with the case, AKBP Didik and AKP Malaungi have also been subjected to an ethical sanction of dishonourable dismissal (PTDH) from the National Police institution.

The suspects are charged under the provisions of Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics and related legislation.
