NTB Police Chief Visits High Prosecutor's Office, Discusses Inter-Agency Collaboration
West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Chief Inspector General Kalingga Rendra Raharja visited the office of NTB High Prosecutor Wahyudi on Tuesday (14/7/2026). Kalingga arrived with an entourage, including Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Hari Nugroho. Kalingga stated that his visit to the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office was part of carrying out work duties and inter-agency collaboration. “In the execution of our duties, collaboration is very important,” Kalingga said at the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office. Kalingga referred to Wahyudi as an old friend, noting they had previously served together in the West Java region. “Hopefully, the synergy in NTB, which has been good so far, will be even better in the future,” he added. Meanwhile, when asked about issues occurring in Jakarta, High Prosecutor Wahyudi responded that the meeting would strengthen the synergy between the two institutions in NTB. “Regarding synergy, it is about the criminal justice system. It must be strengthened in the regions,” he said. According to Wahyudi, the NTB Police and the High Prosecutor’s Office have long maintained good communication, particularly concerning case handling. “This has become a step in collaboration, communication, and coordination. This role is very important from the stages of inquiry and investigation to requesting instructions. Because the police handle inquiry and investigation, and the prosecutors handle prosecution,” he stated.
