NTB High Prosecutor's Office Deposits Rp17.1 Billion into State Treasury

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor’s Office, along with district and city prosecutor offices, has deposited a total of Rp17.1 billion into the state treasury during the period from January to August 2026.

During a press conference held in Mataram on Wednesday to mark the 81st anniversary of the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office, the Head of the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office, Wahyudi, stated that this Rp17.1 billion deposit originated from various areas of duty.

“The largest deposit comes from the collection of corruption replacement money. From January to August 20 تعديل 2026, assets seized from corruptors amounted to Rp9.7 billion,” he said.

He noted that challenges in meeting state loss recovery targets arise because many corruptors choose to serve additional prison sentences as a substitute for the financial losses imposed upon them. “Most of them are serving their subsidiary sentences. This is something we must remain vigilant about,” he added.

In addition to the replacement money, the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office has deposited Rp7.2 billion from Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) into the state treasury as of late August 2026, representing 86.75 per cent of the Rp8.3 billion target. The deposits also include Rp294 million from the auction of confiscated goods, which were conducted simultaneously on a national scale.
