Jakarta (ANTARA) - The results of a Nusantara Riset Indonesia (NRI) survey place Gerindra as the political party with the highest electability at 27.25%, followed by Golkar at 15.67% and PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) at 15.17%.

The high electability cannot be separated from public perceptions of the performance of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, which are deemed very satisfactory by the majority of respondents,” said NRI Director Deni Yusup in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Deni explained that the latest NRI survey shows that 80.17% of respondents expressed strong satisfaction with the performance of the President and Vice President.

“This figure demonstrates the strong political legitimacy of the government, which also impacts societal electoral preferences,” he stated.

This indicates a correlation between government performance and the public’s political choices.

In the survey, energy resilience emerged as the most dominant variable in shaping public satisfaction, with 19.17%.

This achievement positions the energy sector as the primary foundation of public trust in the government, while also strengthening the electoral effect on the main supporting parties of the administration.

Other factors influencing public satisfaction include the Free Nutritious Meal Programme at 18.33%, presidential leadership at 17.92%, law enforcement at 16.67%, food resilience at 15.42%, and the education and people’s school sector at 12.50%.

According to Deni, these findings show that strategic issues such as energy resilience not only impact national stability but also have implications for the electoral map of political parties.

The survey was conducted from 13 to 22 April 2026 using multi-stage random sampling on 1,200 respondents across 38 provinces and 518 regencies/cities.

Data collection was carried out through face-to-face interviews with a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of ±2.9%. The respondent composition consists of 50% men and 50% women.

Besides the top three parties, the electability of other parties is NasDem at 5.92%, PKB at 5.50%, PKS at 5.25%, Democrat at 5.17%, PAN at 5.08%, PSI at 2.00%, and PPP at 1.00%, while undecided respondents stand at 9.97%.
