Nozoly Distributes 2,353 Nusuk Cards to Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims in Jakarta to Ensure Smoother Pilgrimage
Nozoly.id has introduced an innovation in Hajj services by distributing Nusuk cards to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims directly in Jakarta prior to their departure to Saudi Arabia. This year, 2,353 Nusuk cards were distributed to Indonesian pilgrims as part of the company’s premium service for Special Hajj Organisers (PIHK) and individual pilgrims.
The Director of Nozoly.id, Muhammad Naufal Rafi’uddin, stated that this step is a service innovation based on the company’s experience managing Hajj operations in Saudi Arabia over the last two years. “This is the first year the distribution of Nusuk has been conducted in the home country. This innovation is based on experience. Over the past two years, we observed that the distribution of Nusuk in Makkah was crowded and operationally quite complex, which led to this innovation,” said Naufal.
According to Naufal, prior to this year, Nusuk cards were generally distributed after pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia, either at Jeddah Airport before boarding buses to Makkah or at their hotels. This situation was deemed uncomfortable as pilgrims were often exhausted after long-haul flights from Indonesia. “In previous years, they were distributed in Makkah or Jeddah when pilgrims had just landed. The situation was very hectic and uncomfortable for pilgrims. Some were only receiving them in the hotel lobby,” he added.
By distributing the cards in Indonesia, pilgrims already hold their official Nusuk cards upon arrival in Jeddah. The cards are activated one day before or on the day of departure. This facilitates the process when pilgrims must present official identification to Saudi authorities or Hajj organisers, allowing them to proceed with their pilgrimage activities more calmly and prepared.
In addition to Indonesia, Nozoly has implemented a similar service model in Malaysia, where the company serves approximately 30,000 pilgrims with pre-departure Nusuk card distribution. Naufal explained that the distribution and activation service for the 2026 Hajj season commenced on 1 May and will run until 22 May 2026, specifically for pilgrims using Nozoly services and staying at the Holiday Inn Makkah.
As a service provider company (SPC) focusing on Hajj services, Nozoly is also known for its specialisation in the Arafah and Mina regions. The company manages tent logistics to ensure pilgrim comfort despite limited space. “We specialise in Arafah-Mina. Even if the tent size is only about 1x1 metre, we arrange it so that there is no overcrowding and pilgrims remain comfortable, with mattresses and space for dining provided,” Naufal noted.
Furthermore, comprehensive pilgrim assistance is provided through dedicated assistants known as ‘Muhsen’. This support continues from the moment pilgrims arrive in Jeddah, through the various stages of the Hajj rituals, until their return to Indonesia. “The distribution of Nusuk in Jakarta is also supported by our Muhsen team,” he said. Naufal expressed hope that Indonesian pilgrims would experience peace of mind starting from Indonesia, knowing that all requirements for the Hajj have been fulfilled.
