Now Concluded, What Was the Transaction Value of IIMS 2026?
The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 officially closed after 10 days of exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from February 5 through 14, 2026. One of the largest automotive exhibitions in the country once again demonstrated its strength and drawing power amid global and national economic uncertainty, although the official transaction figures were not disclosed by the organizers.
President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, Dazwar Marpaung, affirmed that IIMS 2026 was still able to attract public enthusiasm despite the national economy still being overshadowed by uncertainty.
“Over 10 days, despite all the challenges, we were able to face them together. Amid global and national economic uncertainty, IIMS 2026 still has a strong magnet for industry players, automotive enthusiasts, communities, and the general public,” said Dazwar Marpaung.
IIMS 2026 was participated in by more than 200 exhibitors, including 36 car brands, 26 motorcycle brands, and 82 automotive supporting industry brands. The exhibition also consistently supported micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the creative industry by providing the largest area for 71 local MSMEs and 21 creative industry players. This participation demonstrates that IIMS remains a magnet for industry players and automotive enthusiasts, even as the global economy fluctuates.
This year, IIMS presented 63 attractive programs to entertain and educate visitors. Flagship programs included IMS Infinite Life featuring more than 26 teams and 5 new programs such as IMS Automation and IMS Edutainment. Additionally, as a form of social responsibility and commitment to education, IIMS 2026 held a CSR program titled IMS School Day Out, which provided a direct exhibition experience for 110 schools, including ST Negeri Pisangkang Timur 01.
The staging of IIMS 2026 demonstrates that Indonesia’s automotive industry still holds significant potential. The enthusiasm of visitors and industry players is expected to open new opportunities for employment, investment, and innovation in the automotive sector and supporting creative industries.
