Novotel offers 'Pasta Bonanza'

YOGYAKARTA: Want to break your fast Italian-style? How about "Pasta Bonanza", a food promotion of pasta dishes on offer at a city hotel.

Available since August from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Novotel Yogyakarta hotel's Kayu Api restaurant offers the buffet menu for Rp 85,000 net per person.

Pasta on offer includes tagliatelli, spaghetti and fettuccine, combined with a choice of sauces such as carbonara, Neapolitan, cream and bolognaise.

Also on the menu is a selection of meats, including lamb, beefsteak and chicken.

Customers were also welcome to choose tenderloin, sirloin, ribs, or T-Bone steaks with a sauce of their choice, hotel public relations manager Erny Kusmastuti said.

"The combination of steak and pasta will hopefully be an interesting alternative for Muslims when they break their fasts," Erny said. -- JP
