Novotel offers holiday programs

YOGYAKARTA: Entering this years' school holiday season, Novotel
Yogyakarta Hotel on Jl. Sudirman offers a series of special fun
educational programs for children.

On Saturday this week, the hotel offers a short cooking class
for Rp 50.000 per child from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., during which
participants are taught how to make banana chocolate and cheese
sandwiches.

"Our pastry chef, Tutik Handayani, will host the class where
the kids will be given the chance to taste their creations,"
hotel public relation manager Erny Kusmastuti said.

Other children's programs are offered for this Sunday and
Saturday, July 10, with a short course on table manners and a
children's fashion show consecutively. They run on both days from
10 a.m. to 12 a.m and also cost Rp 50,000 each.

At the fashion show, which is entitled The New Color of Funky
Style, the children are invited to show their talents in a
modeling contest.

"The contest is divided into two categories: For children of
five to seven years of age and for children of eight to 12 years
of age," Erny said. The winners of the fashion show will receive
trophies, money and vouchers to stay at Accor's network hotels.
