Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Officially Launched, Featuring a 140x Zoom Camera

Nothing, the smartphone vendor known for its distinctive designs, has launched a new phone series: the Nothing Phone (4a). The smartphones were unveiled on Thursday, 5 March 2026, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) technology fair held in Barcelona. The Nothing Phone (4a) comes in two models, including the Nothing Phone (4a) ‘regular’ and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. The regular model features Nothing’s distinctive design with a small mini-LED display, the Glyph Bar. In contrast, the Pro model is designed more minimally. The camera housing of the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is larger, square-shaped with rounded corners, a concept somewhat reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro. This camera housing houses the phone’s three rear cameras, along with a small micro-LED screen called Glyph Matrix, and an LED flash. The area is styled with an asymmetric design, typical of Nothing. Otherwise, the phone’s profile is fairly plain, unlike the Phone (4a) which is entirely designed with a unique aesthetic. In addition to the different design, the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro also carry somewhat different specifications. Here are the details. It is larger than the regular model, which features a 6.78-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Both smartphones are equipped with three rear cameras, including a 50 MP main camera with a Sony LYT700C 1/1.56-inch sensor. This sensor has Pantone Validation certification, claimed to reproduce 110 shades of skin. The main camera is accompanied by a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 140x digital zoom. This is claimed to enable users to capture moments with sharp details, whether at close range or distant distances. The other camera is an 8 MP ultrawide. The phone also includes a 32 MP front camera for selfies or video calls.
