Note this: The 2026 Eid al-Fitr Mudik and Balik Odd–Even Schedule

For travellers planning to go home to their hometown in private vehicles, it is important to know the odd–even schedule that will apply during the mudik and balik periods of Lebaran 2026. The government, through the Ministry of Transportation in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing and Korps Lalu Lintas (Korlantas) of the Indonesian Police, has officially issued a Joint Decree (SKB) regarding traffic management and crossings during the mudik and balik Lebaran 2026 period. The aim is to safeguard safety, security, order, and smooth traffic flow, while also optimising the capacity of the national roads and toll roads during the Lebaran transport period.
