JAKARTA – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is preparing a special stimulus to break up the density of the Eid return flow in 1447 H. Jasa Marga will implement a 30 percent discount on toll fares for those returning to Jakarta who are willing to shift their schedules outside the peak period. The 30 percent toll discount will apply along the entire Jasa Marga Group toll roads during the following period: This strategy allows the public to travel at a lower cost while enjoying much freer traffic conditions. Jasa Marga President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, explained that this year’s return flow period is relatively shorter compared to the outbound flow. The movement of millions of vehicles returning simultaneously on Tuesday (24/3/2026) risks triggering extreme congestion, especially at convergence points from the Trans Java and Bandung routes on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. In addition to utilising the price cut, Jasa Marga emphasises compliance by road users on three crucial aspects for collective smoothness. Travellers are asked not to linger in rest areas so that vehicle circulation remains smooth. Ensure sufficient e-money balance and full fuel tank before entering the toll road. Avoid popular times like mornings and evenings. Monitor navigation in real-time via the Travoy application to avoid congestion points on routes to tourist destinations that usually surge post-Eid.
