JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The government through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has released the schedule for organising the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage or 1447 Hijriah. The schedule for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage is contained in the Decree of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2025. The stages of organising the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage are divided into three stages, namely entry into dormitories and departure; the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage; and repatriation. The departure of prospective Hajj pilgrims for Wave I will begin on 22 April 2026. Meanwhile, Wave II will be departed on 7 May 2026. The peak of the Hajj pilgrimage will take place starting from 8 Dzulhijjah 1447 H or 25 May 2026. After that, pilgrims will proceed to Arafah and perform wuquf at Arafah on 9 Dzulhijjah 1447 H or 26 May 2026.
