Note the Dates! This One-Way and Ganjil-Genap Mudik Schedule for Lebaran 2026
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The government has announced traffic management measures for the mudik (homecoming) and balik (return) period of Lebaran 2026. The arrangements include a one-way system, contraflow, and odd-even (ganjil-genap) restrictions on several major tol (toll) roads. The policy is set out in a Joint Decree (Surat Keputusan Bersama, SKB) between the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Indonesian Police’s Traffic Corps, regarding traffic management and crossing during Lebaran Angkutan 2026/1447 Hijriah. The rules are issued to ensure safety, security, order, and smooth traffic flow during the mudik and balik Lebaran periods.
One Way Schedule
The one-way system will be applied on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road through to the Semarang-Solo Toll Road.
For outbound (mudik), one-way applies from KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 421 of the Semarang-Solo Toll Road from Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until Friday, 20 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
For return (balik), the one-way system applies from KM 421 Semarang-Solo to KM 70 Jakarta-Cikampek on Monday, 23 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
Contraflow Schedule
In addition to one-way, the government will also apply contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Jagorawi Toll Road.
For outbound (mudik), contraflow will be applied from KM 47 to KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road in two periods:
17–20 March 2026, 14:00–24:00 WIB
21 March 2026, 12:00–20:00 WIB and 22 March 2026, 09:00–18:00 WIB
For return (balik), contraflow will be applied at:
KM 70 to KM 47 Jakarta-Cikampek from 23–29 March 2026, 14:00–24:00 WIB
KM 21 to KM 8 Jagorawi on 24 March and 29 March 2026, 14:00–19:00 WIB
Ganjil-Genap Schedule
The odd-even system is also imposed to restrict vehicles during the mudik and balik periods.
For outbound, this rule applies on:
Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from KM 47 to Semarang-Batang Toll Road at KM 414
Tangerang-Merak Toll Road from KM 31 to KM 98
The policy applies from 17 March 2026, 14:00 WIB to 20 March 2026, 24:00 WIB.
For return, odd-even applies on:
Semarang-Batang Toll Road from KM 414 to Jakarta-Cikampek KM 47
Tangerang-Merak Toll Road from KM 98 to KM 31
This rule is in effect from 23 March 2026, 00:00 WIB to 29 March 2026, 24:00 WIB.
The odd-even policy does not apply to certain vehicles, including fire trucks, ambulances, yellow-plate public transport, vehicles for the disabled, and tol-operational vehicles.
