JAKARTA - Users of the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road should prepare for potential traffic congestion in the coming days. This is because Jasa Marga, through Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM), is resuming asphalt reconstruction works on the road. Ginanjar Bekti R, Senior Manager of Representative Office 2 at Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, stated that the lanes targeted for work will be temporarily closed during the repairs. “Users are urged to drive carefully, pay attention to traffic signs, and follow instructions from on-site personnel,” he said. On the Tangerang-bound direction, repairs are being carried out at several critical points, including lane 2 from KM 19+725 to KM 19+785, and lane 1 at the Kunciran 1 Off Ramp. Additionally, works cover lanes 1 and 2 at the Karang Tengah Off Ramp, which could impact vehicle exits in that area. Meanwhile, for the Jakarta-bound direction, the works are concentrated around KM 23, with specific points including lane 2 from KM 23+385 to KM 23+350, KM 23+365 to KM 23+250, and KM 23+235 to KM 23+225. Although conducted outside peak hours, motorists are still advised to anticipate slowdowns, particularly near the work sites. Traffic will also be regulated during the reconstruction process.
